During the 2026 Grammy Awards broadcast, rapper Nicki Minaj skipped the event entirely and instead launched a blistering online tirade on X, branding the music industry and the ceremony itself as deeply satanic.
The drama kicked off when host Trevor Noah joked about her absence, quipping that she was busy at the White House discussing “important issues” with Donald Trump—prompting cheers from the crowd. Minaj fired back hard, calling Noah “closeted” and sharing suggestive images while questioning his personal life.
She didn’t stop there. Minaj targeted industry heavyweights, particularly implying Jay-Z’s past relationships with much younger artists like Aaliyah (sharing old photos and labeling him a “#ChildPREDATOR”). Wrapping her rant on a spiritual note, Minaj prayed for divine intervention: “As they do their ritual tonight, God almighty will reveal himself to them. The ritual will backfire on them.
