Vegas Home Biolab Bust: Israeli Suspect Flees to Israel.

Israeli citizen Ori Solomon, 55, was arrested in Las Vegas after authorities discovered an unlicensed biolab in a home he managed as property manager, containing refrigerators with vials of unknown reddish-brown liquids and other potentially hazardous materials linked to a prior illegal California lab case.

The raid, conducted by FBI and local police in late January 2026, uncovered no confirmed deadly pathogens but raised alarms over possible infectious agents, with some employees reportedly falling “deathly ill” from exposure.

Solomon faced charges including illegal firearm possession (as a non-immigrant visa holder barred from guns) and hazardous waste disposal; he was released days later on personal recognizance bond, ordered to surrender his passports and remain in the U.S. Reports indicate he subsequently fled to Israel, prompting ongoing federal investigation into the biolab’s operations and connections.
