An Epstein Files Cover Up?

As of February 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice identified approximately 6 million pages of documents as potentially responsive to the Epstein Files Transparency Act of 2025, which mandated the release of unclassified records related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

To date, only 3.5 million pages have been released, including a major batch of over 3 million pages on January 30, 2026, along with 2,000 videos and 180,000 images, in addition to earlier releases totaling around 500,000 pages.

The DOJ has stated that this constitutes the final release, as the remaining roughly 2.5 million pages will not be disclosed due to containing child pornography, attorney-client privileged information, internal deliberative processes, duplicates, or unrelated material, though critics argue more should be made public with redactions. The documents encompass various types such as email chains, text messages, news articles, and internal investigative reports, primarily in digital formats like PDFs for textual pages, alongside video files and image files
