One plane was bombed in the sky and crashed killing all 6, another plane was bombed on the ground.
The air force says it crashed, that is a lie, it was bombed by Iranian drones and missiles.

Iran has attacked a total of 27 U.S. military bases in the middle east as of Day 29 of Trumps Iran “war” for Israel. 13/27 U.S. Military bases are totally destroyed now.

This was part of a pair of KC-135 incidents on the same day amid heightened U.S. military operations in the region (linked to tensions with Iran). One KC-135 suffered tail damage (possibly from a mid-air collision or other accident) but landed safely in Israel. The second aircraft crashed in western Iraq, resulting in the loss of all six crew members on board. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) described the event as neither friendly fire nor hostile action, pointing toward an accident (speculation has included a possible mid-air issue)

The crash site is in a sandy, arid environment with sparse vegetation, consistent with western Iraq.
The fuselage is heavily fragmented and burned, with the forward/mid section appearing as a mangled mass of debris.
