A 14 year old girl went missing, and now 3 week later her dad found her on a boat 13 miles away from the home, according to reports of a local tip.

The man was active on social media and dedicated to finding his daughter.

On Saturday, The father from Patchogue publicly shared his relief and joy after his daughter, who had been missing, was safely returned.

Emmarae Gervasi, aged 14, was discovered safe on Friday afternoon, aboard a large boat anchored near the White Cap Fish Market and Seafood Restaurant in Islip.

She had been missing since December 9th, leading her family through weeks of uncertainty and fear.

Frank Gervasi, Emmarae’s father, recounted the emotional moment of finding his daughter before the police arrived. “I did find her myself before police got there. It was 26 days of hell seeing her alive in my arms. It was a gift from God. I can’t describe the feeling I had when I grabbed her,” he expressed, his relief palpable as he spoke to News 12.

Following her rescue, Emmarae is now in the process of recovery, currently receiving care in a hospital. Her father shared that while she is safe, the ordeal has taken its toll, and she is being looked after to ensure her health and well-being.

The case of Emmarae Gervasi’s disappearance and subsequent discovery is still under active investigation by authorities. Despite the joyous reunion, the reasons behind her absence and the circumstances of how she ended up on the boat remain questions to be answered, with no further details released yet.

According to reports, it’s alleged that she was heavily trafficked to other men.
