Complete Physics and Analysis On The Collapse of World Trade Center

The September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City remain one of the most catastrophic events in modern history. At 8:46 AM, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower, followed by United Airlines Flight 175 hitting the South Tower at 9:03 AM.

The impacts led to fires which eventually caused both towers to collapse, fundamentally altering global politics, security policies, and the lives of countless individuals. However, among the chaos and confusion of that day, numerous first responders and witnesses reported hearing sounds that suggested something beyond just the plane impacts.

Firefighters and emergency personnel on the scene described hearing loud booms, which many interpreted as explosions. In the aftermath, there were multiple accounts from FDNY firefighters who spoke of hearing secondary explosions after the initial impacts. For instance, some reported hearing loud “booms” from within the structures, which they believed were not associated with the planes’ collisions but rather reminiscent of controlled demolitions. One firefighter described the sound as “floor by floor, it started popping out,” suggesting an orderly sequence of explosive events. These descriptions are supported by several posts found on X, where firefighters are heard claiming that bombs were going off inside the buildings.

Witnesses outside the towers also corroborated these claims. Some bystanders and media personnel reported hearing what sounded like bombs going off before the towers collapsed. An analysis of eyewitness accounts documented by organizations like the International Center for 9/11 Justice reveals that 112 eyewitnesses specifically mentioned explosions, while 32 directly used the word “bomb” in their descriptions. One notable account comes from a video known as the “Matthew Shapoff video,” where a voice is heard exclaiming, “That was a bomb that did that!” right after observing the North Tower’s collapse. Additionally, media reports from that day mention car bombs, and emergency personnel communicated over radios about secondary explosions.

The Day It Happened; 911 Documentary

The official investigations by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the 9/11 Commission largely dismissed these explosion reports, attributing the collapses to the fires caused by jet fuel and the structural damage from the impacts. However, these accounts have fueled conspiracy theories and debates about the true nature of the events on 9/11. Critics of the official narrative argue that the characteristics of the collapses, the sounds of explosions, and the speed at which the towers fell suggest the possibility of pre-placed explosives. Despite these claims, no conclusive evidence has been presented to support the use of explosives, with most engineering and scientific communities adhering to the explanation given by NIST. Nevertheless, these eyewitness reports continue to be a significant part of the discourse surrounding the events of 9/11.
