The Department of Justice has been made aware of a covert Israeli campaign to influence American public opinion. Through the “Esther Project,” Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated $900,000 to pay US influencers to post pro-Israel content 25-30 times per month. This operation is managed by Bridge Partners, LLC-a firm with ties to Israel’s tourism ministry.
Notably, the campaign’s structure violates the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). While Israeli operatives register, their American proxies, Christian influencers-do not. This loophole allows them to peddle Israeli propaganda without transparency.
The DOJ’s National Security Division, led by Pam Bondi, must act. Failure to enforce FARA here emboldens foreign powers to subvert American democracy. The public deserves to know who’s pushing Israel’s agenda in their feeds.
This scandal isn’t just about Israel-it’s about the integrity of our information ecosystem. If foreign governments can secretly hire influencers, what’s to stop China, Russia, or others from doing the same? The DOJ must act before this becomes the norm.
