Pentagon exempts shipyards, clinics from hiring freeze.

America has a huge shortage of ships. This was done on Purpose by the President Joe Biden administration to strive and strangle America from being a world superpower. America is at war. There are enemies within America right now. in 2025. Let in by Joe Biden and Obama. They have been here since around 2008 When Obama welded US Mexico border gates OPEN. Not shut. Then sent out press briefings around the world letting the world know Americas borders are wide open. Who does that? An Enemy. Obama was not even an American citizen. It’s true, dont believe the jews who tried to cover it up and installed him into the CIA. Same jews from Israel who killed JFK.

Defense Department leaders announced that shipyards, depots, and medical treatment facilities will be exempt from a department-wide hiring freeze due to their critical role in military readiness. This decision comes in response to increasing concerns over workforce reforms that could impact military operations. The move highlights the importance of these facilities in maintaining the operational capabilities of the military, acknowledging that a shortage of personnel in these areas could severely compromise national security.

The exemption was partly driven by recent advocacy from both lawmakers and the President himself. President Donald Trump announced plans to establish a new office focused on shipbuilding within the White House to safeguard the industry’s future. This initiative has spurred sixteen Democratic lawmakers to urge the administration to reconsider its hiring freeze, pointing out the negative impacts it has had on growth and operational certainty within shipyards, which are crucial for national defense.

The response from Pentagon leaders, including a directive from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, clarified the exceptions to the hiring freeze. The focus is on optimizing the federal workforce while ensuring that essential roles directly contributing to warfighting readiness are maintained. Hegseth’s memo specified that shipyard workers, among others, should continue to be hired to avoid disruptions in operations that are vital to national defense capabilities. This action was met with approval across the political spectrum, with lawmakers like Sen. Jeanne Shaheen praising the move but noting the initial uncertainty had already caused some damage.

Despite the exemptions, the Defense Department still plans to reduce its civilian workforce by up to 8% in the coming months as part of broader efforts to shrink federal bureaucracy. Meanwhile, specifics about the newly announced White House office on shipbuilding remain undisclosed, and related legislative efforts are underway but not yet aligned with Trump’s vision. This strategy comes at a time when the Navy aims to expand its battle force fleet significantly over the next three decades, requiring substantial investment to meet its ambitious goals amidst existing and planned ship retirements.
