Breaking News: Will President Donald Trump Solve the Ukraine Russia War That Joe Biden allowed to happen?
On February 27, 2025, President Donald Trump welcomed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to the White House for a significant meeting focused on strengthening the US-UK relationship amid discussions on Ukraine, defense spending, and trade. Both agreed the countries have an amazing relationship.
The New America and UK Trade Deal
President Trump still said he will impose a tariff on the UK.
President Trump said the Prime Minister Starmer fought hard to keep the tariffs off, but it didnt work and he hopes the both will come to a new international trade deal soon. President Trump made an example of how the UK sells their products into America like BMW cars and other English made cars, and there are no American cars sold in the UK.
The Ukraine Russia War Peace Deal
President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer talked about the Ukraine Russia war and how a peace deal is coming soon, they hope. It all depends on Putin and Zelensky. Prime Minister Starmer says how the UK loaned Ukraine money, and gave the tiny country money for free. The peace deal would include America getting an equivalent of $500 Billion in rare earth minerals.
Prime Minister Started by handing President Trump an invitation for an official second visit, unprecedented the Prime minister Keir Starmer said. Its an official invitation to England, from the king and queen Starmer said.
The Oval Office encounter began with a warm exchange, setting the stage for talks on pressing global issues. The Prime minister of the UK invited President Trump to England to meet the Kind and queen.
The warm talks went on and both took many questions from reporters.
“Could you take on Russia by yourselves” President Donald Trump asked Prime Minister Starmer. With the Prime minister blushing and a red face, not responding. Trump quickly turned and started taking more questions from Reporters.
Trump expressed optimism about future engagements, stating, “I will be going to UK in near future,” signaling his intent to deepen ties. Addressing trade concerns, he remarked, “I’ve had problems with the EU because… they’ve tariffed us,” highlighting his ongoing frustrations with European economic policies. He also hinted at a thorough review of bilateral relations, noting, “I have to take a look at sanctions on UK. We’re going to have a good discussion today,” suggesting an openness to resolving tensions while reinforcing the alliance. The meeting underscored both leaders’ commitment to prosperity and security, navigating a complex geopolitical landscape.

00:00:01.920 ladies and gentlemen the president of
00:00:03.879 the United States accompanied by the
00:00:05.960 prime minister of the United
00:00:24.720 Kingdom thank you very
00:00:27.439 much thank you very much great honor
00:00:31.800 today it’s my privilege to welcome the
00:00:34.079 prime
00:00:35.040 minister of a very special place the
00:00:38.879 United Kingdom to the White House prime
00:00:42.000 minister starmer you’ve been uh terrific
00:00:44.960 in our discussions you’re a very tough
00:00:46.640 negotiator however I’m not sure I like
00:00:49.800 that but that’s okay very very special
00:00:52.719 person the Prime Minister and I have
00:00:54.480 gotten off to an outstanding start the
00:00:57.160 US and UK have a special relationship
00:01:00.000 very special really like no other passed
00:01:02.879 down through the
00:01:04.199 centuries and we’re going to keep it
00:01:06.479 that way we’re going to keep it very
00:01:07.880 strong as it is very importantly I was
00:01:11.680 just notified by letter from King
00:01:14.240 Charles that he’s extended through the
00:01:17.200 Prime Minister a historic second state
00:01:20.479 visit to the United
00:01:22.439 Kingdom and that’s a great honor because
00:01:24.759 it’s never happened before one person
00:01:27.240 has never uh been extended did that
00:01:30.200 honor and I really do call it an honor
00:01:32.840 but it’s not for me it’s for our country
00:01:34.840 it’s respect for our country so I just
00:01:37.079 want to thank you and I want to thank
00:01:39.240 King Charles thank you very much and we
00:01:41.720 accept I don’t know if the media is
00:01:43.720 going to follow us I have a feeling they
00:01:45.240 might okay thank you very much
00:01:47.159 appreciate it I’m pleased to say that
00:01:49.840 the bust of one of the prime minister’s
00:01:53.240 greatest predecessors Winston Churchill
00:01:55.560 is now back in the rightful place in the
00:01:58.719 Oval Office and and uh we’re very proud
00:02:01.240 of it our meeting
00:02:03.039 today and the various uh breakout
00:02:05.920 sessions we had were tremendously
00:02:07.880 productive most importantly I provided
00:02:10.080 the prime minister with an update on our
00:02:12.200 efforts to end the bloody and horrible
00:02:15.720 war in Ukraine with Russia which would
00:02:20.160 never have happened if I were president
00:02:21.840 that was not going to happen I promise
00:02:23.519 you that after 3 years of hellacious
00:02:26.560 conflict approximately 1 million
00:02:29.280 ukrainians and Russians have been
00:02:31.400 senselessly killed but the number I
00:02:34.000 believe is much higher than that
00:02:35.760 countless schools hospitals towns and
00:02:37.920 beautiful ancient churches have been
00:02:40.159 absolutely obliterated to begin the
00:02:43.120 process of ending this spiral of death I
00:02:47.159 had historic back-to-back calls with
00:02:49.440 President Putin very successful calls I
00:02:52.519 might add and president seninsky and
00:02:55.480 my team also spoke with the Secretary
00:02:59.239 General of NATO on numerous occasions
00:03:01.640 and we’re working very hard to get that
00:03:03.599 war brought to an end I think we’ve made
00:03:06.280 a lot of progress I think it’s moving
00:03:08.120 along pretty
00:03:09.400 rapidly and uh I want to thank all of
00:03:12.200 the people that are here that have been
00:03:14.200 working on
00:03:15.319 it and we’ll let you know what’s what
00:03:19.200 happens it’ll either be fairly soon or
00:03:22.120 it won’t be at all in addition this week
00:03:24.879 I met with President macron of France as
00:03:27.560 you know and held talks with me MERS of
00:03:30.120 the G7 tomorrow the progress toward
00:03:33.560 peace will continue when President
00:03:35.879 zalinski visits the White House they’ll
00:03:38.040 be here tomorrow in the early part of
00:03:40.439 the day and we’ll be signing a historic
00:03:42.640 agreement that will make the United
00:03:44.760 States a major partner in developing
00:03:46.519 Ukraine’s minerals and rare
00:03:48.920 Earths and uh oil and gases and we have
00:03:53.480 uh a great understanding I think it’s
00:03:55.799 going to be great for Ukraine we’re
00:03:57.159 going to be at the site and we’ll will
00:04:00.360 be uh we’ll be digging we’ll be dig dig
00:04:03.159 digging dig we must a big utility in New
00:04:06.599 York con at us and they used to have a
00:04:08.120 sign dig we must and we will be digging
00:04:11.400 but much of the European Aid to Ukraine
00:04:14.159 has been sent in the form of loans for
00:04:16.759 which they uh expect to be paid back and
00:04:19.478 we didn’t have that honor under the
00:04:21.639 Biden Administration he sent money just
00:04:23.880 send it money after money after money
00:04:26.440 and uh never had any any any knowledge
00:04:30.320 of ever seeing it back maybe 300 to
00:04:33.600 350 billion dollars but under the
00:04:37.720 Breakthrough agreement very unusual
00:04:39.759 which everyone said
00:04:41.440 was difficult to get but it’s really
00:04:43.680 very good for Ukraine and very good for
00:04:46.160 us the American taxpayers will now
00:04:48.919 effectively be reimbursed for the money
00:04:51.280 and hundreds of billions of dollars
00:04:52.919 poured into helping uh Ukraine defend
00:04:56.479 itself which by and of itself is a very
00:04:58.759 worthy thing to do we’ve paid far more
00:05:01.800 than any other country and with most of
00:05:03.759 our support it’s been paid in military
00:05:07.919 the finest weapons anywhere in the world
00:05:10.800 this includes vast amounts of military
00:05:12.680 hardware ammunition and various other
00:05:15.919 things that we now have to start
00:05:18.440 rebuilding our own stockpiles
00:05:20.440 Additionally the minerals agreement will
00:05:23.319 provide the basis for a more sustainable
00:05:25.639 future relationship between the United
00:05:27.600 States and Ukraine and th stimulate the
00:05:30.479 long-term Prosperity that will help the
00:05:33.280 ukrainians rebuild
00:05:35.039 their country it’s been
00:05:38.440 demolished and uh the ruined
00:05:41.039 infrastructure the infrastructure as you
00:05:42.919 know is in very bad shape in just over
00:05:46.240 one month our Administration has already
00:05:48.400 achieved more progress toward peace than
00:05:51.360 years in the other Administration where
00:05:53.360 they did nothing toward peace they
00:05:55.400 didn’t understand what was happening our
00:05:58.680 approach is basically common sense as I
00:06:01.960 said so many of the things that we do
00:06:03.919 based on common sense if you want peace
00:06:06.880 you have to talk both
00:06:09.800 sides as I discussed with prime minister
00:06:13.199 starmer The Next Step we’re making is
00:06:16.440 toward a very achievable ceasefire we
00:06:19.440 hope that that can H happen quickly
00:06:21.960 because uh thousands of young people in
00:06:26.080 this case we’re not talking about
00:06:27.520 Americans we’re talking about ukrainians
00:06:29.280 and Russians are being killed every week
00:06:32.560 thousands and it’s a rough Battlefield
00:06:34.919 it’s a flat piece of land and the bullet
00:06:36.800 only stops when it hits
00:06:38.759 somebody and this week I saw the reports
00:06:42.280 and it’s it’s uh I don’t even want to
00:06:44.680 say what what they are but thousands of
00:06:47.319 people young people young vibrant people
00:06:50.160 died and we want to stop that senseless
00:06:53.919 should have never happened this will lay
00:06:56.080 the groundwork for a long-term peace
00:06:57.800 agreement that will return stability to
00:06:59.840 Eastern Europe and hopefully ensure that
00:07:02.680 such a terrible war will never happen on
00:07:05.280 European soil or for that matter
00:07:07.680 anywhere
00:07:08.680 again it’s uh it’s a horrible thing
00:07:12.879 that’s going on the disaster in Ukraine
00:07:15.599 shows exactly why it’s so important for
00:07:18.080 the United Kingdom and other NATO
00:07:20.479 Partners to make large investments in
00:07:22.280 their defense capabilities in many cases
00:07:25.280 4% or 5% of GDP would be appropriate
00:07:29.759 I know that they’re raising it I just
00:07:31.599 read a an article a great article about
00:07:33.960 the work you’re doing in the UK as to
00:07:36.560 the military you’re raising it quite a
00:07:38.120 bit which is a great thing to do for
00:07:39.919 your country it’s a great thing to do
00:07:42.000 it’s sad that we need that but probably
00:07:44.120 need that so congratulations on that I
00:07:46.560 know you got it through after years of
00:07:48.960 chronic underfunding there’s an urgent
00:07:51.800 need to catch up for some countries and
00:07:54.240 I want to thank the Prime Minister once
00:07:56.159 again for traveling here today work
00:07:59.479 working together I believe that will’ll
00:08:02.360 once again demonstrate the power of our
00:08:05.080 country’s unique friendship this is
00:08:06.800 indeed a unique friendship it’s been
00:08:09.240 many
00:08:10.159 years and I think it’s only gotten
00:08:12.840 stronger and we will make sure that it
00:08:15.560 stays that way we’re going to have a
00:08:18.240 great Trade Agreement one way or the
00:08:20.319 other we’re going to end up with a very
00:08:21.479 good trade agreement for both countries
00:08:24.240 and we’re working on that as we speak I
00:08:26.800 think we’ll have the uh confin I think
00:08:29.960 we’ll have uh something maybe even in
00:08:32.519 terms of
00:08:34.360 possibilities agreed to very shortly JD
00:08:36.919 is working on our vice president and uh
00:08:39.839 Scott and uh I’m just looking at this
00:08:41.760 all from Mike you’re going to work on it
00:08:43.440 everyone’s got to work on it we’ll see
00:08:44.800 if we can do something pretty quickly
00:08:46.920 but we’re going to make some great trade
00:08:48.200 agreements with the UK and with the
00:08:49.839 Prime Minister and uh it’ll happen very
00:08:52.640 quickly so I just want to thank you
00:08:54.160 again and please thank King Charles for
00:08:56.880 the invite and uh I look forward to you
00:08:59.480 you’re giving our acceptance on behalf
00:09:01.160 of the United States of America thank
00:09:02.920 you very much
00:09:09.079 sir thank you well thank you very much
00:09:12.079 Mr President thank you for your
00:09:13.800 hospitality thank you for your
00:09:15.440 leadership this has been a very good and
00:09:17.600 very productive visit um and with your
00:09:20.600 family roots in Scotland and your close
00:09:23.640 bond with his majesty the king it’s good
00:09:26.160 to know that the United Kingdom has a
00:09:28.399 Tru end in the Oval Office and it was so
00:09:31.360 good to see the bust of Winston
00:09:32.600 Churchill back in its rightful uh place
00:09:35.200 just a moment ago but look in a moment
00:09:37.959 of real danger around the world the
00:09:40.519 relationship this relationship matters
00:09:43.200 more than ever we remain each other’s
00:09:46.079 first partner in defense ready to come
00:09:49.440 to the other’s Aid to counter threats
00:09:52.279 wherever and whenever they may arise no
00:09:55.839 two militaries are more intertwined than
00:09:58.360 ours no two countries have done more
00:10:01.040 together to keep people safe and in a
00:10:03.640 few weeks uh we Mark VE Day the 80th
00:10:07.480 anniversary of Victory in Europe Britain
00:10:10.480 and America fought side by side to make
00:10:12.880 that happen one of the greatest moments
00:10:15.160 in our
00:10:16.360 history We Stand side by side still
00:10:19.880 today and we’re focused now on bringing
00:10:23.399 an enduring end to the barbaric war in
00:10:26.680 Ukraine Mr President I welcome your deep
00:10:29.320 deep and personal commitment to bring
00:10:31.800 peace and to Stop The Killing you’ve
00:10:34.839 created a moment of tremendous
00:10:36.680 opportunity to reach a historic peace
00:10:39.560 deal a deal that I think would be
00:10:41.920 celebrated in Ukraine and around the
00:10:44.680 world that is the prize but we have to
00:10:48.519 get it right there’s a famous slogan in
00:10:51.160 the United Kingdom from after the second
00:10:53.839 world war that is that we have to win
00:10:57.120 the peace and that’s what we must do now
00:11:01.279 because it can’t be peace that rewards
00:11:03.440 the aggressor or that gives
00:11:05.440 encouragement to regimes like
00:11:07.760 Iran we agree history must be on the
00:11:10.880 Side Of The Peacemaker not the
00:11:13.760 Invader so the stakes they couldn’t be
00:11:16.279 higher and we’re determined to work
00:11:18.880 together to deliver a good deal we
00:11:22.000 discussed a plan today to reach a peace
00:11:24.600 that is tough and fair that Ukraine will
00:11:28.040 help shape the backed by strength to
00:11:30.920 stop Putin coming back for more I’m
00:11:33.680 working closely with other European
00:11:35.160 leaders on this and I’m clear that the
00:11:37.519 UK is ready to put boots on the ground
00:11:40.680 and planes in the air to support a deal
00:11:43.160 working together with our allies because
00:11:45.600 that is the only way that peace will
00:11:49.279 last Mr President in this new era you’re
00:11:53.079 also right that Europe must step up and
00:11:56.680 let me tell you now I see the growing
00:11:59.279 threats we face and so the UK is all in
00:12:04.000 this year we’ll be giving more military
00:12:05.600 aid to Ukraine than ever and just this
00:12:08.320 week I’ve set out how we’re shouldering
00:12:10.680 more of the security burden we’re
00:12:13.199 already one of the biggest Spenders in
00:12:14.880 NATO and now we’re going much further
00:12:18.079 delivering Britain’s biggest sustained
00:12:20.040 increase in defense spending since the
00:12:22.160 Cold War this isn’t just talk it’s
00:12:25.760 action rebalancing the transatlantic
00:12:28.560 Alliance making us all stronger and
00:12:32.079 standing up for our shared values and
00:12:34.480 shared
00:12:35.480 security as Britain always
00:12:38.440 has and Mr President it’s no secret
00:12:40.920 we’re from different political
00:12:43.240 Traditions but there’s a lot that we
00:12:45.839 have in common and we believe it’s not
00:12:48.920 taking part that counts what counts is
00:12:52.600 winning if you don’t win you don’t
00:12:56.000 deliver and we’re determined to deliver
00:12:58.320 for the working people people of Britain
00:13:00.440 and America who want and deserve to see
00:13:04.079 their lives improve so we’re both in a
00:13:07.000 hurry to get things done and that’s what
00:13:09.680 the UK and us do when we work together
00:13:13.839 we win and we get things done so we’ll
00:13:17.680 do what it takes to keep our people safe
00:13:20.760 we’ll also work together to deliver some
00:13:23.199 big economic winds that can benefit us
00:13:25.399 both we have a $1.5 trillion dollar
00:13:28.360 invested in each other’s economies
00:13:31.160 creating over 2.5 million jobs across
00:13:33.959 both economies our trading relationship
00:13:36.959 is not just strong it’s fair balanced
00:13:40.920 and reciprocal we’re leaders together in
00:13:43.920 so many areas ranked one and two in the
00:13:47.000 world as investment destinations one and
00:13:50.040 two for
00:13:51.079 universities one and two for Nobel
00:13:53.680 prizes one and two in Gulf as well by
00:13:57.399 the way uh and we the only two Western
00:14:00.600 countries with trillion dollar Tech
00:14:02.360 sectors leaders in
00:14:04.320 Ai and look we take a similar approach
00:14:07.199 on this issue instead of
00:14:23.360 overregulation together shaped the great
00:14:26.639 technological innovations of the last
00:14:28.680 century
00:14:29.920 we have a chance now to do the same for
00:14:32.480 the 21st
00:14:34.279 century I mean artificial intelligence
00:14:37.240 could cure cancer that could be a
00:14:39.920 moonshot for our age um and that’s how
00:14:43.199 we’ll keep delivering for our people
00:14:45.320 there are so many opportunities keep our
00:14:47.560 Nations strong and fulfill the promise
00:14:49.839 of greatness that has always defined
00:14:52.519 this
00:14:53.800 relationship finally to undermine to
00:14:56.759 underline the importance of this
00:14:59.920 Bond it was my privilege and honor to
00:15:03.440 bring a letter with me today from his
00:15:06.160 majesty the
00:15:07.759 king not only sending his best wishes
00:15:11.040 but also inviting the president and the
00:15:13.360 first lady to make a state visit to the
00:15:15.839 United Kingdom an
00:15:18.120 unprecedented second state visit this
00:15:20.680 has never happened uh before uh it’s so
00:15:23.680 incredible it will be historic and I’m
00:15:26.240 delighted that I can go back to his
00:15:28.120 majesty the king and tell him that
00:15:29.920 President Trump has accepted the
00:15:31.959 invitation so thank you our teams will
00:15:34.319 now work together to set a date uh and
00:15:36.480 we look forward to welcome you in the
00:15:38.199 United Kingdom thank you once again
00:15:40.360 thank you very much what a beautiful
00:15:43.360 accent I would have been president 20
00:15:45.839 years ago if I had that
00:15:47.800 accent thank
00:15:51.519 you question okay let’s see
00:15:55.319 here go ahead
00:15:57.519 please than president earlier today uh
00:16:01.839 you told me that you believe that
00:16:04.279 foreign countries pay tariffs but
00:16:06.959 Americans who are concerned about higher
00:16:09.360 prices believe as most people do that
00:16:13.160 they’re paid by consumers and importers
00:16:15.800 when they import things into this
00:16:17.319 country can you explain how you came to
00:16:21.040 this belief that foreign governments are
00:16:23.440 paying tariffs and uh for the Prime
00:16:26.279 Minister did you discuss with President
00:16:28.560 Trump his repeated statements of desire
00:16:32.360 to Annex Canada uh and has the king
00:16:36.560 expressed any uh concern over the
00:16:40.560 president’s apparent desire to remove
00:16:44.319 one of his Realms from his
00:16:47.079 control so I’ll go ahead the first part
00:16:50.160 the tariffs are necessary because we’ve
00:16:52.519 been treated very unfairly by many many
00:16:54.959 countries including our friends friend
00:16:56.680 and fo but we’ve been treated very
00:16:59.440 unfairly uh in trade uh at levels that
00:17:03.160 nobody’s really ever seen before and
00:17:04.839 especially under the Biden
00:17:06.000 Administration they really took
00:17:07.359 advantage of the United States uh I put
00:17:11.520 massive tariffs on China during my four
00:17:13.880 years we the best economy in the history
00:17:15.559 of our country one probably the best
00:17:17.799 economy maybe the best economy in the
00:17:19.559 history of the world and I had I used
00:17:22.839 tariffs to even things up and in
00:17:26.319 particular with China we took in
00:17:27.839 hundreds of billions of doar and we had
00:17:30.160 no inflation and it’s a myth it’s a myth
00:17:33.640 that’s put out there by foreign
00:17:35.160 countries that really don’t like paying
00:17:38.160 tariffs and especially to even up so
00:17:41.559 we’ve been treated badly by a lot we’re
00:17:43.240 using tariffs and I find and uh you just
00:17:46.480 have to look at the numbers but I find
00:17:48.720 that it’s not about inflation it’s about
00:17:50.400 fairness and the inflation uh for us has
00:17:53.600 not existed and I don’t think it’s going
00:17:55.919 to exist we’re going to bring our car
00:17:57.320 industry back we’re going to bring our
00:17:58.600 ch ships back we’re going to bring uh so
00:18:00.799 many things back to our country
00:18:02.360 including Pharmaceuticals and drugs uh
00:18:05.400 and the thing that’s going to get us
00:18:07.240 there is tariffs and I say often it’s my
00:18:10.799 favorite word in the dictionary but I
00:18:13.000 always preface that by saying now
00:18:14.840 because I got into a lot of trouble with
00:18:16.280 the fake news where they say uh that’s
00:18:18.320 not good so I say God love family wife
00:18:22.840 they’re all my favorite words but tariff
00:18:24.880 is about number four or five on the list
00:18:27.320 uh but I will tell you uh it’s going to
00:18:29.200 make our country rich and it’s going to
00:18:32.000 stop us from being a laughing stock all
00:18:34.240 over the world because we have been
00:18:36.440 taken advantage of like no country has
00:18:38.760 ever been taken advantage of thank you
00:18:40.520 very much and uh look we had a really
00:18:43.159 good uh discussion a productive
00:18:45.200 discussion a good discussion as a result
00:18:47.400 of which our teams are now going to be
00:18:48.799 working together on an economic deal our
00:18:51.039 teams are going to be working together
00:18:52.280 on security in Ukraine um you mentioned
00:18:55.840 Canada I think you’re trying to find a
00:18:57.600 divide between us that doesn’t um exist
00:19:00.480 we’re the closest uh of Nations and we
00:19:02.679 had very good discussions uh today but
00:19:04.840 we didn’t Canada thank you please go
00:19:09.400 ahead go ahead yes thank
00:19:14.000 you hi Natasha Clark from LBC Mr
00:19:16.919 President you’ve said you’re working on
00:19:17.960 a new trade deal with Britain which we
00:19:19.640 of course welcome President Obama once
00:19:21.480 said Britain was at the back of the key
00:19:22.919 for that trade deal where are we now
00:19:24.520 when do you think we’ll we’re going to
00:19:26.000 see that and prime minister the BBC is
00:19:28.280 today admitted serious flaws over the
00:19:30.039 recent Gaza coverage suggestions of
00:19:32.039 payments made to people linked to Hamas
00:19:34.360 does the BBC BBC still have your trust
00:19:36.559 thank you well they didn’t do well with
00:19:39.320 President Obama he’ never got a lot of
00:19:42.200 things done and he didn’t get a trade
00:19:44.280 deal done that was of any importance or
00:19:46.880 magnitude we have uh we’ve had great
00:19:49.400 discussions on trade and I think we’re
00:19:50.880 going to have a deal done rather quickly
00:19:52.720 as quickly as it can be done we we’re
00:19:54.280 going to have something I think rather
00:19:56.000 quickly we expect to do that okay please
00:19:59.159 uh on the BBC um look I’ve been
00:20:01.919 concerned about um the program in
00:20:04.240 question the secretary of state had a
00:20:05.880 meeting with the BBC I think it was
00:20:07.559 yesterday it could have been the day
00:20:08.520 before thank
00:20:10.679 you Jeff go
00:20:14.080 ahead thank you sir pardon me uh Mr
00:20:17.480 President do you support Article Five of
00:20:19.760 the NATO treaty and are you concerned
00:20:21.720 that it might be triggered if European
00:20:23.600 peacekeeping forces end up in Ukraine I
00:20:25.640 support it uh I don’t think we’re going
00:20:27.679 to have any reason for it I think we’re
00:20:29.400 going to have a very successful piece
00:20:32.679 and I think it’s going to be a
00:20:33.679 longlasting
00:20:34.760 piece and uh I think it’s going to
00:20:37.360 happen hopefully quickly it if it
00:20:39.520 doesn’t happen quickly it may not happen
00:20:41.400 at all and we want it for two reasons
00:20:44.799 number one I want to see on a Humane
00:20:47.200 basis I want to see soldiers stop
00:20:49.919 getting shot because largely it’s
00:20:51.919 soldiers now towns have been obliterated
00:20:54.880 but it’s largely that and I don’t want
00:20:56.880 to pay billions and billions and
00:20:58.880 billions of dollars nor does the prime
00:21:00.760 minister or anybody else on a senseless
00:21:03.720 war that should have never happened and
00:21:05.400 we’re going to get it taken care but I
00:21:07.159 think it’s going to be a piece that’s
00:21:08.280 going to be long lasting do you have a
00:21:10.200 question for the Prime
00:21:13.120 Minister thank you Mr Prime Minister you
00:21:15.520 were asking the president today about a
00:21:17.200 back stop uh for Europe if the
00:21:20.279 peacekeeping force ends up in Ukraine
00:21:22.480 did you feel like you got a satisfying
00:21:24.440 answer for yourself and for Europe and
00:21:26.960 Mr President if you want to comment on
00:21:28.279 that as well please do I thought we had
00:21:30.640 a very productive um discussion
00:21:32.799 obviously as uh the President says the
00:21:35.720 deal has to come first um but yes um our
00:21:39.000 teams are going to be talking about um
00:21:42.000 how we make sure that uh deal sticks is
00:21:45.360 lasting um and enforced so our teams
00:21:48.320 will be talking about
00:21:49.799 that okay please
00:21:53.760 blue Mr President um some experts think
00:21:56.720 it could take more than a decade to the
00:21:58.960 Precious Minerals from Ukraine how much
00:22:01.480 should the US expect to receive and when
00:22:03.679 do you expect to see that come to
00:22:05.919 fruition well we’re never going to know
00:22:07.520 that answer but by our being in Ukraine
00:22:11.200 and doing the exploration and also the
00:22:14.360 digging and taking uh the rare earth
00:22:17.039 which we need in our country very badly
00:22:19.760 uh we’ll be doing a substantial amount
00:22:22.360 of work
00:22:24.320 probably about at least what we have in
00:22:27.080 there and we hope to be able to do that
00:22:30.320 uh you never know when it comes to that
00:22:32.000 you know our teams will now be uh
00:22:34.440 talking uh in detail about that and I
00:22:37.520 think we’re going to have a very good
00:22:38.480 meeting tomorrow 11 o’clock and I think
00:22:41.000 we’re going to have a very good meeting
00:22:42.360 tomorrow morning we’re going to get
00:22:43.799 along really well okay we have a lot of
00:22:46.320 respect I have a lot of respect for him
00:22:48.799 uh we’ve given him a lot of equipment
00:22:51.520 and a lot of money but they have fought
00:22:53.120 very bravely no matter how you figure
00:22:55.400 they have really fought somebody has to
00:22:57.279 use that equipment and they have been
00:22:58.760 very brave in that sense uh yeah please
00:23:02.080 go
00:23:05.559 ahead ceasefire deal is nearing an end
00:23:08.600 this Saturday uh and there’s been some
00:23:10.720 worry that phase two might never get
00:23:12.400 there do you believe that phase two of
00:23:13.840 the ceasefire in Gaza will come to
00:23:16.080 fruition and have you spoken to
00:23:17.679 Netanyahu about it and for the Prime
00:23:19.799 Minister um this peacekeeping deal has
00:23:22.200 been pushed forward by the UK and France
00:23:24.080 as well have you uh been in discussions
00:23:26.720 with any other European countries to
00:23:28.159 join this this initiative and are you
00:23:30.120 expecting commonwealth countries to also
00:23:31.760 join the effort thank you so we’re
00:23:34.360 working very hard in the Middle East and
00:23:36.159 Gaza and all of the problems and it’s
00:23:38.200 been going on for years and years and
00:23:40.640 centuries and centuries it’s a it’s a
00:23:43.600 tough neighborhood but it could be a
00:23:45.440 very beautiful neighborhood and I think
00:23:47.120 we’re going to come up with some pretty
00:23:49.080 good Solutions but
00:23:51.559 uh phase one is almost
00:23:54.120 complete uh we’ve had some people that
00:23:56.760 have been very seriously injured very
00:23:58.720 seriously hurt both physically and
00:24:01.400 mentally they’ve come out of there very
00:24:03.679 very uh and some of them in very very
00:24:06.240 bad shape uh is shocking many young
00:24:10.000 people young people aren’t in bad shape
00:24:12.960 young people are strong healthy they
00:24:15.080 don’t die people have come out dead
00:24:17.240 young people and old people uh it’s a
00:24:20.480 rough situation but I think we’re going
00:24:22.919 to make it much better and I think that
00:24:24.720 we’ve had a huge impact on that since
00:24:26.600 we’ve been in just the four weeks I
00:24:28.559 think we’ve had a huge impact on Gaza
00:24:30.480 the Middle East and we have some pretty
00:24:31.960 good uh talks going on concerning lots
00:24:35.320 of other people that are going to make
00:24:36.520 it better so uh we’ll see what happens
00:24:38.720 nobody really knows but we’ll see what
00:24:40.559 happens but I think we’ve had a very
00:24:42.039 positive impact prime minister yeah on
00:24:44.720 the question of um the uh European
00:24:48.279 countries yes I’ve spoken to a number of
00:24:50.480 countries um particularly in the last
00:24:52.440 few weeks we had a meeting in Paris uh
00:24:54.919 last week um I’ve got a meeting on
00:24:56.840 Sunday with 18 countries
00:24:59.120 um to further our discussions um
00:25:01.880 obviously um we’ve been talking quite
00:25:04.039 intensely uh to our French colleagues um
00:25:07.480 and to Nato but to other countries as
00:25:10.240 well um because uh as I say I think it’s
00:25:13.640 important uh for European countries
00:25:16.039 including the United Kingdom um to step
00:25:19.679 up and do more in the defense and
00:25:22.480 security of Europe and our continent in
00:25:25.080 the United Kingdom and we will do so
00:25:27.120 well we’re talking to a number of other
00:25:28.640 countries thank you yes in the red
00:25:31.200 please pink red flaming red is it me or
00:25:35.600 her go ahead okay thank you Mr President
00:25:38.120 um question on Ukraine number one is um
00:25:41.440 if you’re not considering the security
00:25:43.559 guarantees are you open to other forms
00:25:46.000 of for example intelligence um
00:25:49.320 cooperation with Ukraine and Mr Prime
00:25:52.039 Minister President Trump has proposed a
00:25:54.240 plan for Gaza does this fit into the
00:25:57.200 two-state solution that the UK held uh
00:26:00.480 for a long time do you see it fit into
00:26:02.799 your general Middle Eastern strategy
00:26:05.159 thank you so much yeah thank you very
00:26:07.159 much we’re open to many things but
00:26:09.000 before I even think about that that’s
00:26:11.320 almost Pleasant to think about because
00:26:13.159 that would mean that peace has been
00:26:14.600 arrived at uh we have to arrive at that
00:26:17.279 piece and uh you know you went three and
00:26:20.440 a half years with an Administration that
00:26:22.440 never even really had a meeting they
00:26:24.640 didn’t have a meeting on
00:26:26.279 peace and there was no Prospect of peace
00:26:29.320 I think frankly Russia wanted to go
00:26:31.600 through the whole long deal I don’t
00:26:34.679 think they do anymore I don’t think they
00:26:36.360 do we had a very big impact on that
00:26:38.360 whole
00:26:39.960 situation uh but uh I don’t like talking
00:26:43.760 about phase two until I get phase one
00:26:45.840 phase one is I have to make peace and we
00:26:48.399 have to get Russia to agree we have to
00:26:50.120 get Ukraine to agree and I think we will
00:26:53.520 uh I think we’ve come a long way I
00:26:55.919 believe we’re going to get it done I
00:26:57.880 wouldn’t say that if I didn’t think so
00:27:00.840 and I think it will be uh very important
00:27:03.480 very historic and we’re going to save a
00:27:04.880 lot of a lot of
00:27:07.520 lives um on the question of Gaza the
00:27:11.080 last few weeks um of the ceasefire um
00:27:14.399 have been very impactful and for me
00:27:16.720 there are two images that I remember
00:27:18.799 more than any other uh the first is
00:27:20.880 Emily deari um who is British being
00:27:24.279 reunited with her mother you may
00:27:26.720 remember she had her fingers uh missing
00:27:29.960 after uh what she endured uh that was an
00:27:32.799 incredible moment I had spent a lot of
00:27:34.480 time with her mother uh while she was
00:27:36.880 held captive and uh her mother went
00:27:39.600 through absolute torture the other image
00:27:42.200 was thousands of Palestinians marching
00:27:44.279 through Rubble trying to return to their
00:27:46.440 communities and their homes um so we
00:27:49.320 have to do everything we can to ensure
00:27:51.840 that the Ceasar continues so that more
00:27:54.159 hostages can be returned so that Aid can
00:27:57.320 be brought in that’s desperately needed
00:28:00.440 um and um we we need to allow
00:28:03.279 Palestinians to return and to rebuild
00:28:05.200 their lives and we must all support them
00:28:07.039 in doing that and yes I believe that the
00:28:09.480 two-state solution is ultimately the
00:28:11.880 only way for a lasting um Peace um in
00:28:15.919 the region and think of that she came
00:28:18.760 home with her fingers and part of her
00:28:21.440 hand blown off that’s terrible uh how
00:28:24.960 bad does he get and we had others that
00:28:27.320 came home and much much worse shape than
00:28:30.320 that it’s a terrible situation uh please
00:28:37.760 yes thank you uh Mr President did our
00:28:40.960 prime minister persuade you not to put
00:28:43.000 tariffs on the UK and if I may prime
00:28:45.960 minister do you think that Vladimir
00:28:48.399 Putin is a man who will keep his word
00:28:51.480 thanks he
00:28:54.960 tried he was working hard I’ll tell you
00:28:57.919 that he he earned whatever the hell they
00:29:00.399 pay him over there but uh he tried uh we
00:29:04.519 I think there’s a very good chance that
00:29:05.840 in the case of these two great friendly
00:29:08.760 countries I think we we could very well
00:29:10.559 end up with a real trade deal where the
00:29:14.240 tariffs wouldn’t be
00:29:15.919 necessary uh we’ll see but he he’s uh he
00:29:19.840 earned whatever they whatever they pay
00:29:21.600 him he earned today he was working hard
00:29:23.159 at lunch and and I’m very receptive to
00:29:26.240 it I think we in all fairness and all
00:29:28.840 seriousness I think we have a very good
00:29:30.519 chance at arriving at a very good deal
00:29:32.200 JD and and Scott and uh Howard all the
00:29:36.320 people are working on it and I think we
00:29:37.960 have a good chance at arriving at a deal
00:29:39.720 that could be uh terrific really
00:29:42.960 terrific for both countries okay thank
00:29:45.159 you uh on the second part of the
00:29:46.640 question um I think my views on Putin
00:29:49.000 are pretty well rehearsed and pretty
00:29:51.159 well known um and uh my concern is that
00:29:55.279 if there’s a deal and I hope there is a
00:29:56.679 deal that it must be a lasting deal uh
00:29:59.320 that it’s not a temporary uh measure and
00:30:01.559 that is um why I think it’s really
00:30:03.679 important that um Putin knows that um
00:30:07.880 this deal a historic deal which I very
00:30:09.840 much hope comes about is there um is
00:30:13.080 there and it’s a lasting deal um and
00:30:15.159 that we’re able to deal with um any
00:30:17.919 inclination he has to go again or go
00:30:20.720 further I think we’ll have two deals I
00:30:22.880 think we’ll have a deal on ending the
00:30:24.240 war and I think we’re going to end up
00:30:26.159 with a great trade deal with you
00:30:28.600 and it’s an honor to be with you and I
00:30:30.640 want to thank everybody very much thank
00:30:32.480 you very much thank
00:30:36.720 you thank you very much thank you
00:31:20.279 Us in terms of trade and I’m a different
00:31:24.200 kind of a president I can’t let that
00:31:26.000 happen thank you
00:31:30.080 please ma’am go ahead Mr President what
00:31:31.480 would you be willing to do if Vladimir
00:31:32.919 Putin did not stick to the terms of any
00:31:35.120 deal on Ukraine if he not what he did
00:31:37.320 not stick to the terms of any deal on
00:31:39.080 Ukraine because he has a history of not
00:31:40.880 sticking to his word when it comes to
00:31:42.360 International agreement I think he’ll
00:31:43.440 keep his word I think I think he’s I’ve
00:31:46.240 spoken to him I’ve known him for a long
00:31:48.200 time now you know I’ve know him we had
00:31:50.120 we had to go through the Russian hoax
00:31:51.799 together that was not a good thing was
00:31:53.519 not fair that was a rigged deal and had
00:31:57.080 nothing to do with Russia it was a rig
00:31:58.880 deal with inside the country and they
00:32:00.399 had to put up with that too they put up
00:32:01.880 with a lot it wasn’t just us they had to
00:32:03.480 put up with it with a phony story that
00:32:05.159 was made up I’ve known him for a long
00:32:07.799 time now and uh I think he will I don’t
00:32:10.960 believe he’s going to violate his word I
00:32:12.760 don’t think he’ll be back when we make a
00:32:15.080 deal I think the deal is going to hold
00:32:16.600 now they’re going to have security
00:32:18.279 you’re going to have security you’re
00:32:19.320 going to have soldiers I know France
00:32:20.880 wants to be there he’s uh the president
00:32:23.840 has has said he wants to have uh
00:32:25.760 soldiers there I don’t think we’re going
00:32:27.279 to even be necessary but I don’t think
00:32:28.919 there’ll be any problem with keeping the
00:32:30.880 deal with the security going to
00:32:33.880 discuss you want to say something no I
00:32:35.760 just going to say I mean the deal if we
00:32:37.880 get it is going to be hugely um
00:32:39.399 important I don’t think it would have
00:32:40.440 happened if the space hadn’t been
00:32:42.039 created for it by yourself um but if
00:32:45.519 there’s a deal in we got to make sure
00:32:46.919 it’s a deal that lasts um that is not
00:32:49.000 temporary but lasts and that’s why we
00:32:51.440 need to make sure that it’s secure and
00:32:53.720 we’ve lent in and said we’ll play our
00:32:55.600 part um and we’ve talked and we will
00:32:57.480 talk about about um how we work with
00:32:59.480 yourself Mr President to ensure that
00:33:01.760 this deal is something which is not
00:33:03.200 violated because it’s very important if
00:33:05.080 there is a deal uh we keep it and that
00:33:07.480 will be and I think I could say that
00:33:10.080 will be the easy part that’s the part we
00:33:12.240 look forward to because putting security
00:33:14.880 there that’s the part we all look
00:33:16.240 forward to that’s easy the difficult
00:33:18.880 part is getting the deal made so but I
00:33:20.919 think we’ve come along way did you have
00:33:22.639 something such he’s got such a nice
00:33:25.840 face he’s smiling and but watch he’ll
00:33:28.679 ask a total killer for those are know
00:33:31.360 him a long time they’re the ones that
00:33:33.159 get you now he looks like personal level
00:33:35.000 Mr President what do you get on most
00:33:36.720 what’s your common ground with sir
00:33:38.480 because you’re both from different
00:33:39.440 political backgrounds it’s true I think
00:33:41.919 uh I can say this because we’ve known
00:33:44.480 each other now really for a little while
00:33:46.159 this is not our first meeting as you
00:33:47.559 know uh he loves his country and so do I
00:33:51.279 that’s our common uh our common theme he
00:33:55.240 loves his country and I love our country
00:33:57.039 and we also have two countries that have
00:33:58.720 gotten along uh for the longest period
00:34:01.600 of time number one Ally on each side and
00:34:05.639 we have good France and Australia we
00:34:07.880 have a lot of good ones but we’ve had a
00:34:10.599 a long time relationship a long time
00:34:13.599 hundreds of years and uh we like each
00:34:17.960 other frankly and uh we like each
00:34:20.599 other’s country and we love our country
00:34:23.320 and I think that’s our common
00:34:25.239 threat Mr President the Europeans on on
00:34:28.639 tariffs you you just said uh with China
00:34:30.879 who are you with I’m with the
00:34:32.119 independent oh that’s good uh it’s on
00:34:34.918 tariffs you just said
00:34:36.440 China we charge them we charge them as
00:34:39.719 and we charged China but the tariffs are
00:34:42.359 are paid eventually by American
00:34:44.440 importers and consumers no they’re not
00:34:46.839 no I think they’re paid for it by the
00:34:48.159 country but you know look we can get
00:34:50.040 into that I had I put a lot of tariffs
00:34:52.839 on in my first term and we made
00:34:54.639 tremendous amounts of progress because
00:34:56.480 of those tariffs uh China paid us
00:34:59.119 hundreds of billions of dollars billions
00:35:01.440 we never had a because they took
00:35:03.359 advantage and president she’s a friend
00:35:05.040 of mine but he know he knows better than
00:35:06.760 anybody took advantage of our country he
00:35:09.079 took advantage of presidents that didn’t
00:35:10.720 know what they were doing and uh they
00:35:13.839 expect them they actually expect them
00:35:15.520 the smart countries expect them from me
00:35:18.720 because they know me and they know our
00:35:19.960 country but they got away with uh they
00:35:22.160 got away with murder for for decades and
00:35:24.839 we just can’t let that happen anymore
00:35:26.520 behind you please Mr President it sounds
00:35:29.000 as though one of you completely trusts
00:35:31.160 President Putin and one of you doesn’t
00:35:33.040 trust him an inch have I got that right
00:35:35.079 and why do you trust no look you know
00:35:36.880 it’s uh trust and verify let’s call it
00:35:39.160 that and and I think we both can be that
00:35:41.320 way it’s you have to verify because you
00:35:43.000 never know what going to happen I know I
00:35:45.440 know a lot of people that you would say
00:35:47.320 no chance that they would ever deceive
00:35:49.440 you and they’re the worst people in the
00:35:51.359 world I know others that you would
00:35:52.800 guarantee they would deceive you and you
00:35:55.440 know what they’re 100% honorable so you
00:35:57.640 you never know what you’re getting uh no
00:36:00.319 I have confidence that if we make a deal
00:36:02.280 it’s going to
00:36:03.760 hold Mr on fenyl Mr President less than
00:36:07.839 1% of all fenyl that comes into the US
00:36:10.880 is apprehended at the Canadian border so
00:36:13.440 why use fenel as a reason because they
00:36:15.760 should be apprehending much more they’re
00:36:18.119 only apprehending 1% you’re right about
00:36:20.440 that it’s a little more than that but
00:36:22.319 they should be apprehending much more
00:36:23.760 because a lot comes through Canada and
00:36:26.280 as uh Mex go get stronger in terms of
00:36:29.040 the Border it goes up to Canada and a
00:36:31.839 lot of drugs are coming in through
00:36:33.200 Canada we can’t have that Mr President
00:36:35.720 Mr yeah go ahead please in the back is
00:36:37.880 there anything you can say tomorrow to
00:36:39.720 president zalinski to reassure him that
00:36:42.160 his country’s War hasn’t been in vain
00:36:44.280 and its sovereignty is not going to be
00:36:45.760 threatened by any deal with well you
00:36:48.079 know he’s
00:36:49.720 coming uh perhaps he’s already on his
00:36:52.520 way and we’re going to be signing the
00:36:54.720 deal together probably in front of the
00:36:56.720 media and we’re going to be having a
00:36:58.680 good conversation no we want to work
00:37:01.480 with him president Z zalinski she said
00:37:04.760 before we want to work with him and we
00:37:06.920 will work with him I think uh the
00:37:09.040 president and I actually have had a very
00:37:11.319 good relationship it maybe got a little
00:37:13.720 bit testy because we wanted to have a
00:37:17.680 little bit of what the European nations
00:37:19.960 said you know they they get their money
00:37:22.040 back by giving money we don’t get the
00:37:24.440 money back Biden made a deal he put in$
00:37:26.280 350 billion
00:37:28.960 and I thought it was a very unfair
00:37:30.680 situation we’re not getting all of ours
00:37:32.400 I mean quite a bit of ours was was was
00:37:34.720 gifted it was given um there were some
00:37:37.079 lens but mainly it was gifted actually
00:37:39.440 Mr President the Mr President the
00:37:41.160 Europeans want Ukraine to be part of
00:37:43.640 NATO as part of this deal are you
00:37:45.400 willing to budge on that at all or is it
00:37:47.319 affir well I could be very nice and say
00:37:49.240 oh well we’ll work to it look it’s not
00:37:52.040 going to happen it’s just not going to
00:37:53.720 happen that’s what started this whole
00:37:55.640 thing
00:37:57.800 Biden said that and and all of a sudden
00:37:59.839 the gun started that was one of the
00:38:02.040 primary reasons this started and this
00:38:04.200 was long before President Putin they
00:38:07.079 they never said it was an impossibility
00:38:10.000 so we can say oh gee well we’ll try but
00:38:12.920 it that’s something that’s just not
00:38:14.400 going to happen and then the other
00:38:15.720 question you ask is about the land will
00:38:18.200 you get your land back well theyve
00:38:20.000 fought long and hard on the land and you
00:38:21.760 and I will be discussing that and we’re
00:38:23.200 going to certainly try and get as much
00:38:25.359 as we can back but on the NATO it’s just
00:38:29.000 not uh that’s not going to happen yeah
00:38:31.400 please Mr President you talked about
00:38:33.000 having common ground with k d but there
00:38:35.280 are things you disagree on as well you
00:38:37.280 described zinsky as a dictator he
00:38:39.599 describes President Putin as a dictator
00:38:41.599 do you see that as a problem uh the
00:38:44.200 relationship between uh president
00:38:46.520 zilinski and President Putin is not a
00:38:48.680 good one you’ve noticed right it’s not a
00:38:51.400 good one there’s not a good
00:38:53.079 relationship and uh we’re going to have
00:38:55.720 to try and work something out sometimes
00:38:57.880 that happens uh I get along with both I
00:39:02.040 have a very good relationship with
00:39:03.599 President Putin I think I have a very
00:39:05.160 good relationship with president
00:39:06.640 zalinski and now we’re you know we’re
00:39:08.680 doing the deal and we’re going to be in
00:39:10.359 there we’re going to be actually in
00:39:12.319 there and digging digging our hearts out
00:39:15.640 and uh hopefully uh you know we need the
00:39:18.280 rare earth and we have some here but we
00:39:20.560 don’t have enough we’re our our economy
00:39:22.839 is very strong and we need a lot of
00:39:25.160 things that in some cases we don’t have
00:39:27.200 here
00:39:27.960 so uh I think we’re going to have a very
00:39:30.200 good relationship but the relationship
00:39:32.079 between them is not the best still think
00:39:35.040 that Mr zinski is a
00:39:37.440 bit um did I say that I can’t believe I
00:39:41.800 said that next
00:39:45.960 question yeah please go ahead from
00:39:48.960 financial times can you see any
00:39:50.599 situation where US forces could be
00:39:53.400 deployed as a back stop in a
00:39:54.760 peacekeeping operation in direct
00:39:56.800 confrontation Russian well there is a
00:39:58.920 back stop that you know first you going
00:40:00.599 to have European countries because
00:40:01.800 they’re right there we’re very far away
00:40:03.240 we have an ocean between us uh but we
00:40:06.200 want to make sure it works so I don’t
00:40:07.920 know when you say back stop you mean a
00:40:09.520 back stop psychologically or militarily
00:40:11.880 or what but we are a back stop because
00:40:14.240 we’ll be over there we’ll be working in
00:40:15.880 the country we’re going to be that’s a
00:40:18.560 great thing economically for them
00:40:20.520 because you know when you talk about
00:40:22.480 Economic Development we’re going to have
00:40:23.960 a lot of people over there so we’ll be
00:40:26.000 working in the country so I don’t I
00:40:28.760 don’t I just don’t think you’re going to
00:40:30.119 have a problem I think when we have an
00:40:32.119 agreement uh you can say whatever you
00:40:34.200 want about security who’s going to do it
00:40:35.800 or and that’s going to be a very
00:40:37.119 pleasant
00:40:38.200 conversation the hard conversation is
00:40:40.680 will we have an agreement and I think
00:40:42.280 the answer is yes I think Russia will
00:40:43.920 agree and I think that I really believe
00:40:46.800 Ukraine will agree also so will you
00:40:48.440 discuss as
00:40:50.160 well British troops are in Ukraine
00:40:52.359 keeping the peace and get attacked by
00:40:53.839 Russia will you come to their aid if the
00:40:56.520 British people are in and they get
00:40:59.240 attacked you know I’ve always found
00:41:01.359 about the British they don’t need much
00:41:02.800 help they can take care of themselves
00:41:05.000 very well you know what no it sounds
00:41:08.040 like it’s evasive but it’s not evasive
00:41:10.480 you know the British are have been
00:41:13.079 incredible soldiers incredible
00:41:15.960 military and they can take care of
00:41:18.280 themselves but if they need help I’ll
00:41:19.880 always be with the British okay I’ll
00:41:21.480 always be with them but they don’t need
00:41:23.720 help you look at their career you have
00:41:26.040 done very well over the years have yeah
00:41:28.599 we have I’m very proud of our country
00:41:30.280 and we have but we’ve also always been
00:41:32.920 uh backing each other up um between our
00:41:35.359 two countries that is why this is the
00:41:36.800 greatest Alliance for prosperity and
00:41:38.440 security I think the world has ever seen
00:41:40.640 whenever necessary we absolutely backed
00:41:43.280 each other up and that’s the could you
00:41:44.720 take on Russia by yourselves
00:41:47.920 well all right one or two
00:41:51.920 more in his remarks at the Munich
00:41:54.119 security conference vice president Vance
00:41:56.079 condemned free spe speech violations in
00:41:58.480 the UK particularly could you respond
00:42:01.280 what is your message I have an idea we
00:42:02.720 have the man right here come on let’s go
00:42:05.680 JD let’s putting you on stage great uh
00:42:08.599 yeah look I I said what I said which is
00:42:11.119 that we do have a of course A special
00:42:13.440 relationship with our friends in the UK
00:42:14.920 and also with some of our European
00:42:16.240 allies but we also know that there have
00:42:18.680 been infringements on free speech that
00:42:21.559 actually affect not just the British of
00:42:24.240 course what the British do in their own
00:42:25.760 country is up to them but also affect
00:42:28.079 American technology companies and by
00:42:29.800 extension American citizens so that is
00:42:31.800 something that we’ll talk about today at
00:42:33.000 launch we’ve had free spech for a very
00:42:35.079 very long time in in the United Kingdom
00:42:37.640 and uh uh and it will last for a very
00:42:39.640 very long time well no I mean I
00:42:42.079 certainly we wouldn’t want to reach
00:42:43.240 cross US citizens and we don’t and
00:42:45.559 that’s absolutely right but um in
00:42:47.480 relation to free speech in the UK I’m
00:42:49.119 very proud of our our history there will
00:42:51.240 you discuss or will you be discussing
00:42:53.000 orus with the Australians and and the
00:42:55.119 Brits will you discussing be discussing
00:42:56.520 orus with prime minister sir what does
00:42:59.079 that mean orcus the Australia us defense
00:43:02.079 Alliance yeah well we’ll be discussing
00:43:04.040 that we’ve had a another great
00:43:05.800 relationship and you have too with
00:43:07.640 Australia yeah we’ve had a very good
00:43:09.559 relationship with Australia please Mr
00:43:11.440 President while we have the vice
00:43:12.960 president here um are you both
00:43:14.680 disappointed that the afd didn’t come
00:43:17.280 first in the German elections given your
00:43:19.280 previous support for them no whatever
00:43:21.920 happens with Germany look uh the
00:43:24.440 relationship has been very strong with
00:43:26.200 Germany but we’ll have to to see what
00:43:27.559 happens they have a a lot of things
00:43:29.480 going on right now we’ll have to see no
00:43:31.880 I’m not disappointed about anything if
00:43:33.680 anything you would say that the group
00:43:36.000 that we would be most opposed to lost
00:43:39.640 and uh but we got along with them also
00:43:42.079 we have a very good relationship with
00:43:43.800 all groups in
00:43:46.359 Germany CEO Eric Prince was on our
00:43:49.240 channel news Nation he was talking about
00:43:50.839 his proposal to use private forces to
00:43:53.079 assist in deportations have you read
00:43:54.760 that proposal and do you support it no I
00:43:56.839 haven’t haven’t seen it I don’t think
00:43:58.079 it’s necessary our people are doing a
00:43:59.839 phenomenal job I wouldn’t be opposed to
00:44:02.040 it necessarily but i’ I’d go to our
00:44:04.040 military people and i’ go to Tom Holman
00:44:06.000 and Christie I’d go to the various and
00:44:07.920 ask but um I don’t I don’t see it as
00:44:11.440 being we’re doing unbelievable
00:44:13.480 unbelievably in getting people out
00:44:16.079 getting criminals out people that should
00:44:17.720 have never been here that the Biden
00:44:19.800 Administration with their stupid open
00:44:21.800 borderers should have never allowed they
00:44:23.280 came in from prisons and jails and
00:44:25.480 mental institutions and gang members and
00:44:28.319 drug dealers coming into our country
00:44:30.200 like this we’re getting them out and
00:44:31.880 we’re doing really well I mean they the
00:44:34.359 level of Effectiveness has been
00:44:36.520 incredible everybody’s talking about it
