Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2015 Deposition on Jeffrey Epstein [VIDEO]
In the lengthy testimony, Maxwell vehemently denied any involvement in recruiting or grooming underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual exploitation. She repeatedly rejected claims that Epstein operated a scheme to lure minors for “sexual massages” that escalated to abuse, stating she had no knowledge of such activities and describing accusations as false or fabricated.
Maxwell portrayed her role with Epstein primarily as that of a former romantic partner and employee who handled administrative tasks, such as occasionally finding adult professional massage therapists for him. She admitted to a long-term relationship with Epstein, including times she considered herself his girlfriend, and acknowledged receiving financial support from him, but insisted she had limited contact with his residences after around 2002 and denied ever witnessing or participating in illegal sexual conduct involving minors.
Throughout the deposition, Maxwell was described by observers as defensive, combative, and evasive, frequently refusing to answer questions about her sex life with Epstein or related “adult” activities, citing irrelevance or privacy. She denied inviting underage individuals to Epstein’s properties except in innocent social contexts (like friends’ children) and specifically refuted allegations of introducing Virginia Giuffre (then 17) to Epstein or facilitating her abuse. Maxwell also dismissed notions of orgies, threesomes, or recruiting girls to “take pressure off” her sexually, calling such ideas absurd. This testimony later formed the basis for perjury charges against her in her criminal case, as prosecutors alleged she lied under oath about key elements of Epstein’s trafficking operation. The full transcript, unsealed in 2020, provides a detailed window into her denials amid mounting evidence from victims and associates.
