This pattern extends to names, dates, and details, creating an intentional “lucky 7” theme in space warfare, ancient Forerunner tech, and galactic-scale events.

In Stargate, the number 7 is central to interstellar travel via the Stargate network: dialing an address requires six symbols for the destination coordinates in space, plus a mandatory seventh symbol as the point of origin (the gate’s current location) to complete the connection and open a wormhole for near-instantaneous travel. This 7-chevron lock is iconic from the original 1994 film (where Daniel Jackson deciphers it) through the series, enabling journeys across the galaxy (and occasionally to distant points requiring eight symbols for advanced networks like the Asgard or supergates). It directly ties 7 to the mechanics of space-time traversal.
