News Reports indicate roughly $779 million spent in the opening 24 hours on munitions, aircraft operations (including high-cost assets like B-2 bombers), and related expenses, plus an additional $630 million for pre-strike military buildup and force repositioning.
Subsequent days have seen continued intense airstrikes on over 1,000 targets, missile expenditures, carrier group operations (costing millions daily), and incidents like lost aircraft adding hundreds of millions more; conservative analyses from sources like Anadolu Agency,
Forbes, and think tanks place cumulative direct military costs for Epic Fure, Trumps 2026 Iran war for Israel already exceeding $5 billion by early March, with broader economic impacts (such as surging oil prices and potential inflation) pushing the toll higher amid warnings that a prolonged conflict could reach tens of billions overall.
