Pentagon Intel Report Showed Before Iran War How Iran Could Close and Block The Strait of Hormuz for 6+ Months
A recent internal assessment circulating within the Pentagon, prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency, before Trump Bombed Iran on Feb 28th 2026, has concluded that Iran possesses the capability to keep the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed for a period ranging from 6 months or longer.
According to a recent Reuters article, the Pentagon informed Congress Iran was no threat, in closed-door briefings that there was no intelligence indicating Iran planned a first strike or preemptive attack on U.S. forces.
