Elon Musk Backs Epstein Victims With Legal Funding

Elon Musk announced on X that he will cover the legal defense costs for any victims of Jeffrey Epstein who come forward to name the financier’s clients or associates and subsequently face lawsuits as a result of speaking out.

The offer came amid the U.S. Justice Department’s recent release of millions of pages from Epstein-related investigations in early 2026, which included emails and other materials mentioning Musk but no accusations of wrongdoing against him.

Musk framed the pledge as support for those “who speaks the truth about this and is sued for doing so,” responding to discussions and posts highlighting fears that victims might be deterred by potential defamation or other legal actions from powerful figures.

This statement has sparked widespread attention online, with some users urging alleged victims to step forward under the promised financial backing, while others view it as a push for greater accountability in the long-running Epstein scandal.
