Whoopi Goldberg & ‘The View’ Hosts Mentioned In Epstein Files
The Irony of The View’s Epstein Commentary
The hosts of ABC’s The View have frequently discussed the Epstein Files on their show, using them as a tool to criticize former President Trump and link him to controversial activities.
However, recent revelations show that several of the show’s cast members are themselves mentioned in these very files.
This discovery, unearthed by Nicholas Fondacaro of NewsBusters, highlights a humorous hypocrisy, as the hosts who wielded the files as a political weapon now find their own names entangled in the documents.
Cast Members’ Mentions in the Files
According to Fondacaro’s analysis shared on Twitter, multiple The View hosts appear in the Epstein Files.
Whoopi Goldberg is referenced nearly two dozen times (21), Alyssa Farah Griffin appears 20 times, Joy Behar is mentioned three times, and Ana Navarro twice.
Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines, fortunately, have no mentions in the latest batch of released files. This totals nearly four dozen references to the show’s cast overall, despite their on-air focus on tying others to Epstein.
Whoopi Goldberg’s Flight Request Details
A deeper dive into the files reveals specific communications involving Whoopi Goldberg. An email from 2013 shows someone contacting Jeffrey Epstein on her behalf, requesting the use of one of his private jets—a Gulfstream G2—to transport her to a charity event in Monaco hosted by the White Feather Foundation. The request emphasized that the charity would cover costs but preferred not to charter a plane, instead seeking a private owner’s aircraft. This connection adds a layer of intrigue to Goldberg’s multiple mentions in the documents.
Anticipated Response and Broader Implications
The irony of this situation has sparked amusement online, with many eager to see how the hosts address it on their show. Speculation abounds that figures like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar might dismiss the revelations as part of a right-wing conspiracy. As the story gains traction, it underscores the unexpected personal ties some media personalities have to high-profile scandals, potentially shifting the narrative around the Epstein Files.
